Stop and smell the roses

That’s what most of us should start doing. We are all too caught up in the stresses of our daily lives that we forget the simple things in life which we must be thankful for. We should celebrate life’s little joys…birth announcements posted on a church door, the scent of flowers in bloom, the whirring sound of your new car’s engine.

It shouldn’t take much to make us happy. The reason most of us are miserable is that we look for happiness in the wrong places. We set our expectations too high, that we fail to see the beauty that is already within reach.

It’s all about counting your blessings. Find something, at least one thing, to be thankful for each day. You can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll find more than one thing to be ecstatic about.

right you are, girl! sometimes we tend to forget to unwind and then we wonder why is it that everything we do seems to go wrong.. we can’t get the fact that we need some time off 🙂
