US Senators Call For a National Boxing Commission

Talk about the ripple effect! In pretty much the same way my husband is obviously bothered as he catches me surfing this site on weight loss pills- http://www.shoppharmacycounter.com/t-Adipex-Medicine.aspx- the controversial split-decision victory of Timothy Bradley over Manny Pacquiao is making waves across American legislators. US Senators are now calling for the establishment of a national boxing commission.

Senators John McCain and Harry Reid- both former boxers- drafted legislation which would create the United States Boxing Commission. This body will be responsible for administering federal boxing law as they work with local commissions in licensing boxers, promoters and managers.

This seems to be a good move at efforts to win back boxing fans. The questionable result of the Bradley-Pacquiao fight has caused many a boxing aficionado to start to lose faith in the integrity of boxing. Hopefully, boxing will rise up again after the “knockout” to its honor.
